| Flat racks are best suited for stowage of heavy lift, over-height and/or over-length cargo. Some of the 20' flat racks have inserting boards on the rear end which can be removed from the corner posts in case the cargo length is longer than the inside length of the container. 40' flat racks do not have inserting boards. New units have collapsible corner posts. Lashing rings on the bottom side rails, corner posts and floor are available to enable cargo to be secure using straps or chains. |
